PIP Cuts: The Labour Party is EVIL!

What the labour party is doing right now is’nt just politics—it’s a full-blown assault on the most vulnerable among us. The Labour Party, has decided to mimic the Tories’ playbook by gutting disability benefits. PIP—the lifeline that helps people cover basic costs of living, like mobility aids or home adaptations—is being slashed. This isn’t about “getting people back to work.” It’s about stripping dignity from those who need support to survive. How dare they label human beings as “burdens” while dismantling the very systems that allow them to live with scraps of independence?

Let’s be clear: PIP has nothing to do with employment. It’s not a handout for the “lazy.” It’s a recognition that illness and disability create unavoidable financial strain. Removing it isn’t fiscal responsibility—it’s cruelty. Pure and simple. And for what? To bankroll mismanaged projects? To funnel cash into cushy public sector deals while scapegoating the sick? But here’s where it gets darker. Once you start devaluing lives—once you decide some people aren’t worth supporting—you open the door to something far more sinister. Assisted dying. Don’t kid yourself: This isn’t “compassion.” It’s a trap. A way to reframe neglect as “choice.” When you strip away support, when you isolate people, when you make survival unbearable, of course some will see death as their only escape. But that’s not autonomy—it’s coercion. It’s society washing its hands of its duty to care. And it’s morally bankrupt.

Here’s the truth: Every life is sacred. Every. Single. One. This is the bedrock of Christian values. Jesus didn’t abandon the sick or the marginalized. He healed them. He sat with them. He died for them. So who are we to decide someone’s life isn’t worth fighting for? Imagine you’re the one facing daily pain, relying on PIP to pay for a wheelchair or heating bills. Imagine being told, “Sorry, we’re cutting your support—but hey, here’s a ‘dignified exit’ if you want it.” How is that dignity? How is that justice? We’re called to treat others as we’d want to be treated. That means building a society where no one is left behind—where we lift people up, not push them toward despair.

This isn’t just a Labour problem. It’s a systemic rot. Both major parties have spent decades normalizing the idea that certain lives are disposable. Cut benefits here, squeeze healthcare there, and gaslight the public into believing it’s “for the greater good.” But let’s call it what it is: a con. A distraction from their failures. A way to pit us against each other while they cozy up to corporate interests. If you think this stops at PIP, think again. First, they come for disability support. Then, they’ll come for healthcare. Then, they’ll push “assisted dying” as a “compassionate solution” for people they’ve already starved of options. Once you decide some lives aren’t worth protecting, where does it end?

We’re told we live in a democracy, but when both parties uphold the same brutal logic—punish the poor, protect the powerful—what choice do we really have? It’s a one-party state in all but name. And if we stay silent, this will escalate. More cuts. More dehumanizing rhetoric. More lives destroyed. We cannot let that happen.

So here’s the question: What kind of society do we want? One that abandons people at their lowest, or one that fights like hell to lift them up? If we shrug at this, we’re complicit. If we look away, we’re endorsing it. The time for politeness is over. Rage. Organize. Demand better. Because every single life matters—not just the ones that turn a profit.

How many more lives have to be crushed before we say enough?
